I know im broken for admitting this but, I have never played Starcraft and I hate (with an unyielding passion) all RTS games. I try them all, and I hate them all. I am both overwhelmed and severely disconnected from the game at the same time. It makes for a stressful environment for me, and not the good stress. Good stress is L4D2 having all 4 team mates in red making that last desperate rush for the last 25% of the map while there are hunters and chargers and smokers oh my! Bad stress is pulling my hair out because im bad at farming resources and churning out troops.

I will say that turn based strategies like Civ are a happy medium for me that i can seriously enjoy.
