Medieval II: Total War just went on mid-week sale on Steam - $4.99. Is it worth it? It does not include the Kingdoms add-on which apparently is part of the Gold package which is $30 and not on sale.

yes. buy it. I wouldn't worry about spending extra for an expansion right now.

Definitely worth it. The expansion is only so-so for this Total War game.
