    But wait... today in a separate interview, the Blizzard game design VP said "LAN will be a great footnote in our history, just like DOS was," like it's an outdated concept. And weren't we told that LAN was dropped mainly for piracy reasons?

    Is there just some memo on "why we dropped LAN" that isn't getting around their offices?
