As a casual gamer, I can say that I hope there is some form of lan - hopefully like steam does. A system to authenticate but then the game stays local. That'd be great. I like to play in the same room as people who aren't wizards with their firewalls and with getting voip to work.
I'm hoping for some sort of retribution for players that change teams mid game and start to kill their team mates. This was the biggest reason why I never got into the multiplayer side of this game.
I'm hoping for a great story - if the campaign is going to be just one race and you're going to make me essentially buy the game 3 times, I'm cool with that, but it better be worth it.
Finally I'd like to see the single player "challenges" and "unique missions" not be hokey crap like they were in red alert 3. Red Alert 3 was impossible - until you realized you could beat 99 percent of the challenges using a cheap tactic. In fact - you HAD to use the cheap tactic in order to beat a few of the maps. That's lame - I want to see single player geared for the casual player - as I doubt the pros spend more than 1 run through it. I'll probably play the single player over and over again. Experimenting with different strategies.
