    GeorgeB and the other last bits of 3DR basically sat at a table and said "okay guys, we need more money to finish DNF, so let's spend just a bit more on iphone dev, bring in some 'cheap' revenue, then we can release the thing so we all don't have to live with the shame that is the past 13 years."

    Personally, I wouldn't want the DNF cloud of "never released" hanging over my head for the rest of my life, if I worked on the game. Already the laughing stock of the industry, best way to shove it in everyone's face is to actually release the game. Hopefully, they'll use the potential money from iphone ports/games to finish the thing, no matter what.

    Kind sad thinking that The Duke used to be one of gaming's most recognizable icons - or at least in the fps genre. The *faceless* Master Chief has more recognition these days! Heck, more people would recognize Gordan Freeman, and you never actually see him in-game...
