The gun thread got me thinking, since I'm going to have a little extra money in the next few months and I'm not gonna be able to get my PS3 for the price that I thought I would, I might finally pick up a gun so I don't always have to wait for my friends to feel like going to the range when I want to go shooting.

I've shot a few different handguns and rifles before (and a musket, which proved to me that I would've died VERY quickly in the Revolutionary War), but my favorite gun so far has been the SKS. I loved being able to empty my friend's 20 round clip in a few seconds, ensuring once and for all that those bottles and cans would never give me shit again.

If I decided to pick up one of my very own, which I'm not sure would be even legal under California's gun laws, where are some places that I should look for the best prices and good accessories for it?
