While it's a good idea to follow through with because of sales, they are making gamers upset at the fact that they offer extra content for PC ports. The extra boss fight that PC gamers received with Gears of War was something that rivited me, as well as several other gamers who had purchased the game on X360. You anger your fan base by waiting a little bit, then releasing more content.

To be fair though you see this in almost all kinds of media: special edition CDs, Lord of the Rings (they came out with the extended versions months after the regular versions), etc. etc. I guess I'm a consumer that wants it all right then and there. I'm more likely to get angered and not purchase out of frustration than be confused with what releases I should be looking for.
