    You have to understand that many of the people talking about PC gaming being dead have a vested interest in it dying. Console operators like Sony get $$ for every game sold on their system, and they would love to see all that PC gaming money come their way. MSFT might be more ambivalent.

    Developers like a stable platform, so many designers of games pushing for a single solution. Hell, a lot of them want only one console, period!

    In 5 years, neither PC's nor consoles will be anything like they are today. I am not talking just in terms of processing power. I am speaking in terms of functionality, interface, and accessibility.

    Frankly, the discussion of dying or not-dying PC markets is somewhat silly.
