I just watched the newish Joy Division documentary and the Ian Curtis biopic Control.
I'd seen Control at a festival, so it wasn't my first time.
they were both so fucking good. Especially together. Very complimentary because they focus on such different aspects of what happened.

I'm still amazed at just how much Sam Riley looks and sounds like Curtis.
Martin Ruhe's cinematography was gorgeous in Control.
