I wrote almost the exact same email to this show after watching the clip on Kotaku. It is abhorrent that a show that claims to be a journalistic source, would not only not research their story, but also go about deliberately smearing a product without knowing the facts.
I think Jeff should have been even more clear that not only is there NO digital nudity (aside from a bare 3D rear end), but the chances of you actually getting the 1 sex scene, are very difficult to achieve. You need to play at least 5-6 hours doing no side quests before you can even unlock this scene. You need to follow a specific path, and once you reach a certain climax point in the dialog, you have to still continue on and initiate the scene. Even if someone impressionable was playing the game - which shouldn't happen since it's a 17+ game and thus falls on their parents and retailers shoulders to prevent it from happening - they would have very little chance of figuring out how to initiate the "sex scene".
And I think it should be underscored the amount of these content you can see so readily on TV day to day. Even if you set aside the graphic sexual content, you still have dozens of shows on television that leave an absolutely terrible impression on children who don't know how to discern from right and wrong. Are all those ridiculous shows on MTV - like Parental Control, which literally promotes breaking up with your significant other and going out on dates that usually end up with the person cheating on their boyfriend or girlfriend, or NEXT, which essentially is teaching children to toss away anyone for the smallest flaw that they find in someone, or that show where 2 ex couples go out to a resort and essentially engage in sexual acts the entire weekend while their significant others are watching. We can't leave out Jackass, Family Guy, American Dad, or the ultimate show Super Sweet Sixteen, that literally teaches children to be stuck up, clueless, snobby brats. Just a disclaimer - Jackass, Family guy and American Dad are great shows, but also send some bad messages.
This news story absolutely pissed me off, and shows just how far into the septic tank the news system in the United States has plunged.
