Solid State Harddrives

I was going to buy this:

It doesn't matter too much that it is EIDE and not SATA right? looking at a couple of reviews, it seems to top out at 50 MB/s which surely means it doesn't warrant anything higher than EIDE in terms of transfer rate surely?
