this is very interesting...

Ever since Kasavin left Gamespot, review scores have been so off the wall and outrageous, mainly because all the big games which kasavin would review, were now being reviewed by Gerstmen. I had been notcing this for a while, and when Gerstman made some stupid stupid comments about EA Skate on a podcast, I had to go say something on their forums.

So I just left a long winded rant about how he had no idea what he was talking about, and how Skate is the best thing to happen to skateboarding games, and is a work of art. I also talked a lot about how I thought Gerstmen was just a poor reviewer, and that now it had become clear since he starts getting more of the bigger games since Kasavin left.

I didn't go back after posting it, and in no way do I think what I said had anything to do with this firing, but I'm just noting that this was a long time comin imo. Gerstman was clueless.

Regarding Kane and Lynch, I have no idea if his review was accurate or not...
