You know a game is truly amazing when so many developers are expressing their love for it.
I am one of those. I hope to pull off creating a game as amazing as this in my lifetime.
There is one thing which erks me though, and this is because I consider myself an objectivist.
One thing Ken said was that he was trying to make a point about being too idealistic as if it were a negative, that people are human. But then he mentions later the Ryan compromised he ideals to go after Fountaines business.
I think being too idealistic is only a problem if someones ideals are inconsistent, contradictory, and can't mesh with reality (mysticism, collectivism). The one thing about objectivism that makes it so different from other philosophies is that it works in reality, is consitent and non-contradictory.
Had Ryan stuck with his ideals problems would not have happened. Being idealistic would have been a good thing.
Or maybe that's what Ken is trying to say... haha. :) In which case even more <3 for Ken.
