Just wanted to post and say, "Damn, that was a well-written review."
Others may argue that it's overly flowery or somewhat pretentious-sounding. As for the former, I think they're just used to the everyday pablum written at a 5th-grade reading level. And as to the latter charge, the review -- and the reviewer -- does not sound as if it's coming from a "holier than thou" perspective, or that it is trying to be something that it is not. In other words, it doesn't sound like Carlos was grabbing a thesaurus every few sentences and he's not misusing terms and phrases.
Anyway, kudos. I hope to see more of this. It's a pleasure to come across writing in gaming "journalism" thats engages me rather than makes feel dumber after reading it.
