Nice review. Your enthusiasm for the game really shines through. I really enjoyed this type of review, where it is more just your experience of the game, than any type of breakdown of its gameplay, graphics, and mechanics.

Where these types of reviews become more valuable is when there are multiple game reviews by the author. Then the reader can see what types of games the author likes and dislikes and obtain a better gauge of how to interpret the author's experience with the game and whether or not it is similar to their own desires/expectations of the game. It's one reason I've always like the "Other games this reviewer has liked" option in the Shackreviews database. Also, Shackreviews provides me a platform to say boobies alot.

However, a game like Bioshock definitely lends itself to an "experience" type of review. It would be hard to do the same type of thing for say, Street Fighter III. At least IMO.

Regardless, please keep with these types of reviews. Also, some sort of option that shows other reviews done by the author would be greatly appreciated.
