I remember watching the fantastic war scene only to be disappointed that the game was basically a Final Fantasy clone, even taking a few steps backwards in some areas (random battles...). I love Final Fantasy and all, and if there's a decent story to be told I'll probably get the game eventually, but I've been spoiled by a few other series' more progressive gameplay.
