I hope I didn't just convince some guy I was a creepy stalker.

I was reading a blog entry about Firefox 2 RC2 being released, and one commenter said that having "Find" work inside textareas now was the most important thing in the release to him.

That made me very excited since I was the one who fixed that (and it wasn't an easy fix, it probably took me a solid month to figure out), so I tracked down his email address and sent him a thank you note.

Then after I sent it I thought, "hmm, this guy is probably wondering why in the hell I'm writing him..."

Anyone else ever done anything arguably creepy (but unintentionally so)?
