Hi folks, i'm from Germany, so please forgive me if I make to many mistakes in this comment.

When I read this article somtimes i had to smile, espacialy about the whole hot coffe thing. In germany there where no big scream in the media and no "childrenprotectingwearesolholyandgoodfuckoff"-groups ran amok. The only game that was largley discussed in the media was - tata - counter strike. And that only after a school murder in Erfurt (maybe you have heard of it, a student killed 16 teachers and pupils). There was a trial if the game should be banned but the judges decided that the competive charakter of the game was more dominant then the acts of violence. But now to my point...

You said imho a very important thing: it is much easier to blame a video game then to look for own mistakes. The terrible thing is that this has method. It dosent matter where you look, its always the same thing, no matter where you look: video games, music, roleplaying or whatever.

"No your Honer my kid has not killed his classmate beacause I'm a usless always drunk bastard that beats his wife and children. NO NO NO it's beacause he listend to KMFDM, he played video games and d&d. I'm realy shure about this"

This world makes me realy sick
