I have never cried at a EA game. I HAVE cried playing ICO, Zelda, and some rpgs. EA will NEVER make a game that pulls any sort of emotional tugs. They don't know how. They never will.
You have to have a soul to do that. EA will never understand beauty, subtlety, and emotion. All they know is money and how to exploit the general population with shiny ads.
