Quake 3 Team Arena is a sequel for id Software's great game Quake 3 Arena. Featuring new levels, power-ups, player models and much more.
What is included in the Team Arena Demo:
The Quake III: Team Arena Demo can be played without Quake III Arena installed on your system. However, the retail version of Quake III: Team Arena will require the full retail version of Quake III Arena be
installed.
The Quake III Team Arena includes the following:
* Single Player (with bots) and multiplayer functionality
* 1 map (which is enabled for all of the Team Arena game types)
* 1 female and 1 male model - including 2 character heads
* 3 clan skins
* 4 gametypes: Capture the Flag, One Flag CTF, Harvester, and Overload
* 1 new weapon - Proximity Launcher
* 3 Team Power-ups: Guard, Ammo-Regen, and Doubler
* New in-game UI
* 1 new useable item - Kamikaze
* New main-menu UI (includes descriptions of all gametypes and power-ups

* Pentium® II 300 Mhz processor with 16 MB Video Card
or
K6®-3 AMD® 350 Mhz processor with 16 MB Video Card
* A 100% Windows® 95/98/2000/ME/NT 4.0 compatible computer system (including compatible 32-bit drivers for CD-ROM drive, video card, sound card and input devices)
* Windows 95/98/2000/ME/NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 3) operating system
* 100 MB of free hard drive space for the Windows swap file (in addition to install space)
* 100% DirectX 3.0 or higher compatible sound card
* 100% Microsoft-compatible mouse and driver
* 100% Windows 95/98/2000/ME/NT 4.0 compatible joystick (optional)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* 64 MB RAM
* 125 MB of uncompressed hard disk space for game files
MULTIPLAYER REQUIREMENTS
* Internet (TCP/IP) and LAN (TCP/IP and IPX) play supported
* Internet play requires a 100% Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 compatible 28.8 Kbps (or faster) modem *A 100% full OpenGL compliant 3-D video card is required. Quake III: Team Arena uses OpenGL to support 3-D hardware acceleration. Quake III: Team Arena has been tested on many but not all of the major cards incorporating the chipsets listed below. Some cards (using some of the chipsets listed below) may require reference drivers. For the most recent list of cards and drivers supported, please visit www.activision.com.
