Official FEAR Map Pack Version 1.3

Installation:

Just run the installer included in the package. To manually install simply copy the rfa files into your \\Battlefield 1942\\Mods\\bf1942\\Archives\\bf1942\levels directory.

Storyline:

Last Stand - Part 1:
Nearing the end of the war axis forces have retreated and await orders from Berlin. They have regrouped all remaining forces to this remote military installation to try to make one last stand in this isolated area in France. With the majority of the allied airforce busy in Germany, and axis flak installations preventing areal assaults in this area, the allies have sent in all available tank batallions in the area to crush this axis installation once and for all. A massive tank battle is about to devastate the landscape.

Last Stand - Part 2:
After the devastating battle axis forces find themselves overwelmed and retreat and detonate explosive charges to destroy the only bridge across the river. Axis forces settle in the village and prepare for one more last stand. Allied tank brigades find themselves trapped on the other side of the bridge. The USS Prince of Wales is called in to assist, cargo planes are also called in to provide extra troops. Now the allies must take the beach, progress through the village and crush the remaining axis forces.

Operation Abitibi:
A small village in the north end of europe which had remained neutral during most of the war has now asked for allied help against the german forces travelling via the railroad who have been taking the population to concentration camps. Due to allied ressources being spread thin during the war effort a small american ranger squad has volounteered to parachute into the village to protect the people from impending german raids. Axis artilery has turned the village to rubble, the allied troops have evacuated survivors to the mountains to hide from the axis forces The axis have send in tanks via the railroad to overpower the allied troops. Now the allies must prevent axis troops from crossing the bridge at all cost until the population can be evacuated.

Desert Oasis:
Axis command has dispatched large numbers of troops to this desolate volcano crater to investicate rumors of supernatural abilities possesed by the Wataka tribe who is indeginous to this volcanic lake. Allied forces are nervous about axis movements in this area due to the proximity of this important war factory located in this area manned by the cheap local labour. Allied forces have learned from the locals of the axis plan to adapt the Wataka abilities to thier soldiers to create unstoppable super-soldiers and have dispached immense amounts of equiments and troops to prevent the axis from discovering the Wataka's ancient powers. The battle for the volcano crater rages on...

Known Issues:

- Edge consiliation of all maps not quite perfect, but neither are the default maps...
- There is the occasional floating tree on Abitibi here and there, we're still looking for them all...
- Can't think of any others, not bad eh ?
