II. IMPORTANT NOTES
Main Menu
Once you've started the game and watched the opening movies, you'll find yourself in the Main Menu. From there you can configure the game to match your preferences and play the game.

Instant Action
In this mode, there are no objectives and no set time limit. You are allowed a Free Play for as long as you would like. This is great for testing out strategies and for learning more about 'Carnival Cruise Lines Tycoon 2005: Island Hopping'.

Start Career
This is the mode where you can prove your skills as a Tycoon. In career mode, it is important to earn enough money to buy a new ship and pass your old ship on to a computer controlled captain. You can also 'upgrade' the port terminals to unlock new routes. The aim is to own all available ships.

Load Game
If for some reason you must quit the game before accomplishing all the goals, make sure to click the disk icon in the upper right to save your game. Then when you start your game again you may choose from the Load screen and continue right where you left off.

III. KEYBOARD AND MOUSE CONTROLS
All functions in 'Carnival Cruise Lines Tycoon 2005: Island Hopping' can be completed with your mouse. Left clicks will operate the menu system, while using a right click on buildings, structures, and people will bring up their stats and allow you to see and modify items. Make sure to monitor the buildings, structures and the skiers, repairing and helping wherever possible to establish the best resort!
