Remote Manager is a replacement for the RemoteConsole.exe program that comes with the game. It makes it easier to manage running servers for those of you who really don't want to learn all those console commands...
Remote Manager 2.0 offers admins all the power of Server Manager 2.0 remotely. All server settings including mod selection, server password, map rotation, and even the server's IP address can be modified remotely. Remote Manager 2.0 can only be used with servers managed by Server Manager 2.0 (future support for Linux servers via a server management daemon is planned).
BFRM 2.0 offers the following features in addition to those in 1.3;
- Admins can configure what dialog pages are visible
- Uses a faster protocol between client and server
- ALL server settings can be changed remotely
- Server can be started/stopped remotely
- Customisable player messages and kick/ban menu
