Download Instructions:
Download The Winds of Eremor (268 KB)
Unzip the downloaded file (using a tool like WinZip), and place the .mod file into your "modules" directory where you have installed Neverwinter Nights. (Default location is
"C:\\ NeverwinterNights \\NWN \\modules")
You can then select the module by choosing "Other Modules..." when starting the game, and selecting it from the list.Â

The winds came out of nowhere, relentlessly driving the tiny vessel before them. Even your ship's grizzled captain looked shaken. Suddenly, through the torrential rain and storm-tossed spray, there loomed an island before you, fires blazing upon its well-fortified peak. Days away from any known shoreline, your captain decides to see what shelter he can in the island's paltry harbor... Welcome to Eremor, island of the winds.
Designer Comments:
"The Winds of Eremor was a simple proof of concept module created to explore some late feature additions to the Encounter system. It experimented with a number of new ideas including scaling end bosses, infinite respawns, and waypoint use within an encounter. None of these things had been attempted in the Neverwinter Nights Official Campaign and it was interesting to see them come to life in Eremor."
