Dishonored 2 Demo Hits All Platforms This Week

If you have been living under a rock and haven't played one of the best games of last year, get the demo. You'll thank us.

Dishonored 2 was one of our best games of 2016, and rightly so. It continued with the excellent gameplay from the original and offered another solid story following deposed Empress Emily Kaldwin. If you didn't try it, you screwed up. But now you get a chance to rectify that mistake, and it won't cost you a dime.

Bethesda has announced that it is releasing a demo for the game later this week on April 6. It will offer the first three missions from the game, which really were a good indicator of how stellar the game was going to be. As with most demos these days, whatever progress you make, including your choices, will carry through if you give in and buy the full game later.

Developer Arkane Studios has done a good job of patching some of the performance issues that launched with the game. While noticeable, they didn't detract from the overall presentation or enjoyment. Arkane has since had a couple of free updates that includes things like a Game Plus mode for expanded replayablity, and more customizable difficulty sliders to modify the game experience.

Don't blow this chance. The demo will be available on Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Marketplace. Try it before the next Dishonored comes out in May (Oh wait, sorry. That's Prey.)
