We knew the game would be at EA Play, but now we have an official name to go with it.

In a shocking reveal of standardized game naming conventions, EA has officially announced that the Star Wars: Battlefront sequel we have all known was coming is called ... drumroll, please ... Star Wars: Battlefront 2. And in typical teaser fashion, everyone will get a look at the first trailer at the Star Wars Celebration on April 15.

EA had already revealed that the game would be at EA Play, but they covertly called it the sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront. But this will be a month earlier, with the trailer being part of “The Galaxywide Premiere of Star Wars Battlefront II” panel discussion at the Star Wars event, starting at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET. The talking heads will be from the three EA Studios involved in the Star Wars license: DICE, Criterion and Motive. If you can't be there, the panel will be streamed live on the official Star Wars Celebration site.

EA first confirmed a Battlefront sequel in May last year, and promised that all of the criticisms leveled on the first game would be taken to heart. The game is expected this fall, likely for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
