"Nindies" are going to be a huge part of Nintendo Switch's early lineup and the company invited some independent developers to showcase what they are doing for the brand new console. We caught up with David Dino, from Sumo Digital, at the Nindies event at GDC 2017 to talk about the 3D platformer where players control a giant snake named Noodle.

Snake Pass was the result of a game jam at Sumo Digital and it is absolutely delightful. The game is heavily influenced by Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie, and many other Nintendo 64 and PlayStation 1 platformers. The game's music is being produce by David Wise, composer of some of your favorite tunes from the Donkey Kong Country series. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4 and the gameplay really forces players to think like a snake as they slither through levels. Please take a look at this interview to find more about Snake Pass.

Snake Pass comes out on March 28 for $19.99 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Steam. Check out the Snake Pass official website for more information about the game.
