If you couldn't get a Limited Edition of the game, live vicariously through the respected producer of the series.

If you were one of the lucky ones to get a copy of a Limited Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch, congratulations. If not, then take a few minutes to enjoy the unboxing of the set by Producer Eiji Aonuma.

The joy on his face as he pulls the items out of the box is reminiscent of a kid on Christmas. He pulls out the game disk box - which is for Europe only - pointing out that Link is "looking back over his shoulder, almost like he's calling out to us." He also reaches in to pull out the biggest piece of the edition, a copy of the Master Sword of Resurrection, planted in the ground next to a flower called the Silent Princess. Aonuma said the sword looks a bit worn with age, but if you want to know why it looks like that and why the flower is there, "you'll just have to play the game to find out."

The Limited Edition is a European variation of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special and Master Editions available in the United States.

It is really fun to watch Aonuma-san enjoy his work. You can see how much he loves the series just in this short video. He should be more excited when the game is finally released alongside the Nintendo Switch on March 3, especially so fans can see how he is dealing with an open-world game.
