We've gotten a good look at the Nintendo Switch OS UI thanks to an individual who happened to get their Switch pre-order early by mistake. NeoGAF user Hiphoptherobot uploaded a three-minute clip of the Nintendo Switch's setup process and navigating the home screen and system menus.

As previously reported the Nintendo Switch OS UI is an exercise in minimalism and looks to transition quickly and smoothly through the various menus. When starting the Switch for the first time, it's much like any other system. After connecting to Wi-Fi and accepting user agreements, the Switch takes you through how to control the system, and then you set up a user account. You no longer have to configure a Mii. Instead, you can pick from a selection of pre-loaded user profile images.

The Home Screen of the Nintendo Switch UI is a lot less busy than the one on the Wii U, and it contains only a single row of spaces for game titles. Everything else is in submenus. The News function on the Switch is where all the latest updates and notifications from Nintendo will be displayed. Additionally, there are multiple themes with the Nintendo Switch, and you can set the color scheme to a black night mode if you don't wish to keep the original whites and grays of the default theme.

More and more information is coming out about the Switch, and we're getting more and more excited about its launch. We don't have to wait long either. The Nintendo Switch will release two weeks from tomorrow on March 3.
