How to Play Resident Evil 7: Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC

Resident Evil 7's second round of DLC, Banned Footage Vol. 2, is due out on February 14 on PlayStation 4 and February 21 on Xbox One and PC. In this pack of DLC, you'll get to see what the Baker Family was like before the events of RE7 in Daughters, get a comical new game mode called Jack's 55th Birthday, and be at the mercy of Lucas Baker's strange traps in 21. Follow the steps below to get started playing the Resident Evil Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC.

How to Download Resident Evil 7 Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC

Beginning on February 14, the Banned Footage DLC Vol. 2 will be available on PlayStation Network. You'll need to own a copy of Resident Evil 7, and you'll need to purchase the ability to play the Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC. To get the Vol. 2 DLC, you'll either need to buy the Resident Evil 7 Season Pass for $29.99, which also includes the Banned Footage Vol. 1 DLC and an unspecified future DLC pack, or purchase Banned Footage Vol. 2 separately for $14.99. The PSN store usually updates between 1 PM and 4 PM so if you don't see Banned Footage Vol. 2 yet, keep checking back on PSN.

For those who game on Xbox One or PC, you'll have to wait an extra week. However, the process is the same for getting the DLC on PC and Xbox One as it is on PlayStation 4. Just purchase the Season Pass of DLC pack, and your copy of Resident Evil 7 should automatically update.

How to Play RE7 Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC

The process to play Banned Footage Vol. 2 is the same as it was for Banned Footage Vol. 1. You won't find the DLC on the main menu. Instead, you'll have to scroll down to the "Extra Content" menu item. In the Extra Content menu you'll find and DLC you've purchased and installed for Resident Evil 7.

Resident Evil 7 Banned Footage Vol. 2 adds two new video tapes and a new game mode for you to enjoy. In 21, you again play the role of Clancy, the survivor from the Resident Evil 7 demo. You'll have to play a vicious game of Blackjack in a scenario reminiscent of Saw.

The Daughters video tape will take you through the events at the Baker house before Resident Evil 7. For anyone who wanted to know more about the Bakers and the story leading up to Ethan's terrible night as their guest, Daughters is a must-play scenario.

Jack's 55th Birthday makes things a bit more serious. It's Jack's 55th Birthday, and it's up to you to make sure he gets his fill. You'll have to rush around the Baker Manor looking for food for Jack while battling enemies. It adds some much needed light-hearted fun to Resident Evil 7 while still presenting a challenge.
