Respawn Entertainment has released a new Titanfall 2 trailer detailing its new 6v6 Pilot-only multiplayer mode Live Fire. The trailer shows off a couple of the two new maps included with the update that's going live with the next content drop.

Live Fire is a competive mode that awards a winner out of the best of five rounds with no respawns. You get one minute to take out the opposing team and win the round. If you're holding the neutral flag when the time ends, you win as well. It's meant for players who want to work closely as a team, so if that's your thing you should keep your eyes peeled for Live Fire to, well, go live.

In addition to Live Fire, Titanfall 2 is getting two new maps designed especially for that mode: Stacks and Meadow, which will be playable only in the Live Fire playlist.

For those less interested in Live Fire and its connected maps, Coliseum is getting a new map called Columns, a new Pilot execution, and playlists will be getting a much-needed facelift soon.

There isn't any concrete release date for Live Fire or the other updates just yet, but it'll be coming down the pipeline soon enough, according to the official Titanfall blog. For now, you can check out the trailer and whet your whistle for all things Titanfall.
