Insomniac Games: Immigration ban is 'deplorable, discriminatory' and 'unconstitutional'

Insomniac Games is the latest studio to take a stand against President Donald Trump's executive order prohibiting individuals hailing from seven Middle Eastern countries from traveling to the United States.

In the video, showing founder and CEO Ted Price and many developers on his team, the Insomniac boss does not mince words in sharing his thoughts on the ban.

"This is a deplorable, discriminatory act that we and many others across the nation believe is patently unconstitutional. We have been, we are, and we will always be a nation of immigrants."

Founded in 1994 as Xtreme Games, Insomniac has created titles in a range of genres. Some of the studio's most beloved properties include Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, and Resistance. Insomniac is currently developer a Spider-Man game for PS4. 

Other companies within the games industry have spoken out against President Trump's actions. Earlier today, the ESA said that "While recognizing that enhancing national security and protecting our country's citizens are critical goals, our companies rely on the skilled talent of U.S. citizens, foreign nationals, and immigrants alike. Our nation's actions and words should support their participation in the American economy."
