Celebrate the Year of the Rooster, Overwatch style.

Overwatch's Year of the Rooster is the game's latest seasonal update, and the event is now live on all platforms.

The event coincides with the Chinese New Year, and includes themed costumes such as fireworks for Junkrat and Symmetra wearing a type of silk dress known as a cheongsam.

Arguably Year of the Rooster's biggest feature, Capture the Rooster puts a spin on classic CTF gameplay. Set on a version of Lijiang Tower decked out for the Chinese holiday, you wage battle with the ultimate goal of capturing the opposing team's flag—festooned with a rooster—and bringing it back to your flag to score points.

To claim victory in Capture the Rooster, Overwatch designers advise that you "get creative with their team compositions as they attempt construct a lineup that's simultaneously built for offensive speed and defensive stability."

A Valentine's Day-themed event for Overwatch was rumored, but subsequently debunked by Blizzard.
