The Final Fantasy 15 Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event Starts Today

The Moogle Carnival Event looks to be an adorable good time for Final Fantasy XV players.

Today's new Final Fantasy XV patch brings the Moogle Carnival Event to the game. The Carnival is the first DLC for Final Fantasy XV, and everyone gets to join in on the fun. However, season pass holders will get some exclusive content and items.

To access the Final Fantasy 15 Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event, you'll have to head to the City of Altissia. The whole city will be celebrating the festival, and there'll be photography, fishing, and dancing to partake in for Noctis and friends.

Final Fantasy XV is a great game with a vibrant world. It's great to see world-changing DLC like this that adds event more depth to the title.

The Final Fantasy 15 Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event starts January 23 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT and ends on February 20.

  This DLC ends on February 20?! Please tell me it is only the extras for the season pass holders that ends then and I can still enjoy the content later on when I can finally afford a PS4...

    I think it's like the Hitman "elusive targets". It's only for a limited time.
    
    This particular kind of thing drives me nuts, unless it's an MMO, where seasonal events make some sense.

    Unfortunately it looks like the extra items and costumes remain available and it's the festival itself that ends on February 20. However, I bet there's a good chance Square Enix will end up doing an encore of the event sometime down the line.
