Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch is due out in 2018

The game marks the first console installment for Fire Emblem since 2007.

Nintendo announced Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch, clearly a working title. The game is expected to release sometime in 2018.

No further information was revealed during today's Fire Emblem-centric Nintendo Direct event. Earlier in the live stream, Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems.
