Quake3 1.25y Released

Like the original release, this is a 18mb download. You can grab it from the Shack, Blues News, Stomped, Fileplanet or Telefragged. Here are some of the changes. Note that this is still a beta release
-Reworked physics code to allow 1.17 style movement while retaining the fluid control and feel of 1.25.Here's what Todd Hollenshead had to say about the release in his .plan update
-Fixed bug that awarded 20 points for fragging your own flag carrier (when friendly fire was on).
-Spelling in Spectator message corrected. Message now indicates that "START" must be selected on the menu to play.
-Fixed long-standing bug in the console in which pressing TAB for command completion removed all quotes (") in the line.
-Fixed bug that caused teammates in CTF/team games to show as incorrect color until TAB (scoreboard show) was pressed.
-Fixed bug where force model did not force model to the model used by the player.
-Fixed bugs related to graphics display by Voodoo 3D accelerator cards.
You should only download and install this release if you are interested in providing feedback to id. Please send all feedback and bug reports to bugs@idsoftware.com.
The major change for this release is the physics code, which should make the game feel like 1.17. We're looking for feedback from players specifically on this issue. There are a number of other fixes, which are detailed in the readme. Mods based on 1.17 are not compatible with this release <snip>
Players should also be aware that we plan on releasing another update sometime next week once we've confirmed that the new physics changes are in place and working. Therefore, players may prefer to wait until the final release before downloading.

im rocking an old school voodoo2 12 meg blackmagic board and im using wicked 3d drivers OR the latest voodoo driver.
For starts the ID logo that stomps out the metal in the begining is 10x bigger and i only see the top right corner of it and its totally low quality
second if i run a game on the local host it flashes back and forth from the loading screen and the skirmish settings screan...then when its finally loaded the screen is full of textures (like in a list of all the textures int the game) but you can hear noises like the game is actually running and control them
i hope this helps, all i know is im high and my q3 doesnt work! ME WANTS MY Q3!

All the best gaming companies now sucks like hell and have deliver not lousy but extremelly buggy product: Quake3, Diablo2, and now Baldur Gates2(Shit I am playing it and I got already a bug!).
The only product that was ok in term of bugs was UT.

Diablo2 skills were modified after people have played for month on their necro. It was also crashing like hell.
Baldur Gates2 is crashing for some people... and have all kind of other weird bugs. Stats in BG2 does mean nothing. I have a gaunlets that give +20% to stealing but I get only 10%?
I guess Quake3 is the only one that I should have remove from my list of game that has too many bugs... I still find it weird that they modify the slash damage only now... his kind of modify maybe the gameplay ... but it is hell late.
You shoot to the ceiling. The ceiling STOPS the explosion. Unless of course the platform brakes. not an option in q3.
A rocket jump will kill someone obviously. Guess what? The body is FLYING IN THE DIRECTION THE EXPLOSION DICTATES.
