During the Nintendo Switch reveal event, several publishers gathered onstage to show off a host of new games coming to the Nintendo Switch. This included Square Enix, who is bringing three RPGs to the system.

First is Dragon Quest 10 and Dragon Quest 11, two installments in the long-running Dragon Quest series of games.

The other is Project Octopath Traveler, a brand-new RPG set in its own unique world with an art style resembling inked drawings and pixelated graphics. At this time, we know very little about it, but it is likely to be another throwback JRPG in a similar vein to I Am Setsuna.

It was specifically mentioned that DQ X and XI are coming out in Japan. I hope that doesn't mean we're not getting it localized for the US. XI was one of the reasons I'm considering Switch in the first place. And, it's not listed on the Nintendo list's game list. :(

Square has been very good about localizing Dragon Quest lately; DQ8 comes out in a week on the 3DS.

        Here's hoping that trend continues.

Agreed. That's why I assumed X and XI would be US releases too when I heard they were announced for Switch. Never even occurred to me they might be Japan only. Really hoping we get some more info tomorrow morning, but I'm feeling more and more that the Treehouse presentation is just going to be more Zelda. No new game info.
