Elder Scrolls Online Datamine Shows Content Taking You To a Vvardenfell Before Morrowind

Elder Scrolls Online players may get to visit Vvardenfell before the Imperial domination we saw in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Dataminer FloorBelow posted information on Reddit that shows the location The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind took place in, Vvardenfell, may be coming to Elder Scrolls Online soon. This Vvardenfell would be set before the events of TES: Morrowind when the Imperials had yet to colonize the home of the Dunmer.

New custom tilesets have been discovered for this map that include Hlaalu, Redoran, Telvanni, Vivec, Molag Mar, Dunmer, Velothi, and Dwemer ruins. Most of the locales from TES: Morrowind seem to be making a return. On the map, you can clearly see Vivec, Balmora, what appears to be a smaller Ebonheart, and others. New additions to Vvardenfell are a Redoran town near Andrasreth, a Hlaalu and what seems to be a Redoran village near where Caldera was in TES: Morrowind. While it's not a new addition, Vivec is also missing it's Foreign Quarter canton, which would be accurate for the period.

Red Mountain is said to seem inaccessible, but even without it looks like Vvardenfell is going to be the biggest PvE zone in Elder Scrolls Online so far. FloorBelow estimates Vvardenfell will be around twice the size of Wrothgar in-game.

As to when this content will release is up in the air. The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind will be 15 years-old in May, so the anniversary of its release is a likely date this new content will be disseminated.
