Diablo III Patch 2.4.3 is live in North America for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The new patch brings Diablo 20th anniversary content to the game this includes a new quest featuring a recreation of the cathedral from the original Diablo.

On the technical side, the patch adds the 64-bit client as the default for 64-bit Windows systems. The change uses DirectX 11 natively, which includes support for per-pixel lighting, improved anti-aliasing, and normal maps. There is also a new option for SSAO pixel shaders and improved support for monitors with refresh rates above 60Hz.

Blizzard is spreading the Diablo series 20th-anniversary celebration throughout their products. Hearthstone has a Diablo-themed battle against the Dark Wanderer. World of Warcraft has a cow level called Moo-Moo Farm. Diablo is represented in Overwatch with new Diablo-themed characters in the Ogrewatch Rank 6 challenge.

If you want to take part in the events added to Diablo III in patch 2.4.3 and the Diablo-themed events in Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch, you better act fast. These events will only be available during the month of January 2017.

I want to play again, but every time I think about replaying the game, I remember all the crap I have in my stash and quit before I start.

So play seasonal. Fresh character, and who gives a shit what happens to your loot when you're done. I used to get so attached to all my junk but then realized it doesn't matter.

I don't even bother to manage my loot anymore between seasons, it eventually expires in the mailbox. You just have to realize it doesn't matter.
