Nintendo Wishes Us All A Happy Holiday Season With This Snowboarding Link Video

The video serves as a Link to holiday's past... and those yet to come.

Christmas is upon us, or whichever holiday you celebrate, and Nintendo is sending out its own version of a greeting card to spread that holiday cheer.

The video is The Legend of Zelda-themed, featuring Link himself shredding on a snowboard as Nintendo delivers heartfelt messages meant to warm us to the cockles of our hearts this season:

"A Link to holiday's past... and those yet to come. Happy holidays and a legendary new year."

Obviously this video doubles as a promotion for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is still scheduled for an "early 2017" release for Wii U and the Nintendo Switch. We're not yet sure if the game will be releasing on the Switch at launch, as that has yet to be announced. We'll keep an eye out and let you know when we know.
