NieR: Automata Gets a Release Data and a New Trailer

Red-hot Android action is coming to a PlayStation 4 near you.

Platinum Games continues the Drakengard series with the upcoming NieR: Automata. NieR: Automata is set after the fourth ending of the original NieR and focuses on a war between humanity and a machine army from another world.

While NieR: Automata takes place in the same world as the original NieR, there is no direct narrative connection between the games. So even if you've never played NieR or any of the Drakengards you can jump right in without worrying about being lost.

If you're hankering for some Android on Android action role-playing action, you don't have long to wait. NieR: Automata comes to PlayStation 4 on March 7, 2017, and to PC on Steam at some point in 2017.

Sony's currently killing it overall. Nintendo and Microsoft have a chance of coming back, but with Sony getting a VR solution out early and locking up really good exclusives I think they're the kings this console gen.

          Totally, I agree 100%.

Sony have been KING this year and have killed it, its going to take a massive amount of work from MS and especially Nintendo to get back in the game or rather move up to Sony's level.

Don't get me wrong MS had some rad titles this year(Gears 4, Horizon 3 and Dead Rising 4(which most likely will own)) and I am really hungry for the Scorpio. But as far as games to look forward to MS is going to have to double time it. The MS PC initiative for me was by far the biggest move they accomplished this year, and it owned and will never be forgotten.

Who knows how Nintendo will turn out next year, it could go either way, I would like to think it will be all good, but I am still not sure. Sure Zelda is a must own but at this point that is about it(and you can get it on a Wii U so it sort of kills the Switch thunder right now). Other than that you have the new Mario game which looked hot for that fraction of a second it was shown, but yeah... So January 2017 better be one of Nintendo's greatest moments to make the Switch not be just a 3Ds replacement(which wouldn't end up a bad thing if that is all it turns out to be). Really everything else at this point seems like Nintendo = a big [ ? ]

Back to Sony I also strongly believe that the PS4 Pro will really pick up massively next year and will gain a massive convergence ratio. The PS Pro was a huge deal for Sony, the problem is not many see that at this point even if its true. Add VR to the mix like you said Sony really is on top by a long shot. Personally I can only see the Scorpio hurting Sony if at all, but at this point the damage would be minimal/time sensitive even if it owns(& I really hope it does, please be a 16 thread Zen CPU).

Right now Sony can only go up from here which is pretty scary(in a really good way), they sure get that software is the most important factor for a console and they have that in spades which seems like it continuously keeps growing every few month.

Good times for sure for Sony, I am sure the Sake will be flowing at the head office and its going to be a hell of a party this year :) , I wish I was there.
