Lego City Undercover gets new recruits on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in Spring 2017
The once Wii U exclusive will finally get a multiplatform release this Spring.
WB Games has announced Lego City Undercover will finally receive a multiplatform release as new recruits will be able to play the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam in Spring 2017.
Lego City Undercover originally released on the Wii U as a console exclusive back in March 2013, which makes its multiplatform release a bit strange at this point considering it’ll be four years since its original release. Thankfully, today’s news means more gamers will be able to experience this excellent kid-friendly open-world action game as we thought it was one of the Wii U’s best games.
WB Games didn’t go into detail as to what enhancements, if any, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam players can expect, although we’re sure it’ll be a matter of time until the publisher announces more information.

Interesting, never paid attention to this since I don't have a wiiU. Is it basically GTA for kids? I love playing these games with my son and that could be a ton of fun.

Exactly! I'm definitely going to play it with my daughter when it comes out. She has always liked LEGO, and since she'll be 3 in Spring 2017, I'm hoping she can enjoy games a bit more.

My son is 5 (and a 3/4, he'd remind me!) which is the age he started to finally get a grasp on games. He always loved watching me play starting around age 3 and would even mash buttons to make a dude jump or whatever... But 5 is when things really started to click for him. And yes, the LEGO games are perfect for learning how to play real games.
He's getting LEGO Dimensions for Christmas and has no idea. Mom told him a while back he would NEVER get it because we went down the Infinity hole previously. But there have been some amazing sales (Starter set $40, fun packs 3/$20, 50% off Story sets and team packs) so she finally caved. Kid is going to lose his mind!-

My daughter is 21 months old and 'm pretty sure my song already has her on the fast track to geekdom. She loves superheroes more than dolls.
