Bandai Namco has announced Digimon World: Next Order will be coming to the PlayStation 4 on January 31, 2017.

The publisher announced the upcoming release of the latest Digimon World title on its official Twitter account, which also shows off its Story Trailer. The game tells a story of the Digital World being in despair as Machinedramons are running rampant and causing chaos wherever they go.

Players will need to explore and traverse through the Digital World in order to solve its ongoing mystery. During their adventure, players will be able to recruit over 200 Digimon companions and meet new friends to help you on your journey. As players form a strong bond with their Digimon, their creatures will perform better in AI battles. Digimon can then be integrated into each player's village to not only expand their town, but it also helps in its evolution.

Digimon World: Next Order is scheduled to release on the PlayStation 4 on January 31, 2017.
