Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection brings the franchise's classic games to PS4 and Xbox One next week, and if you hadn;t made a decision on whether you wanted to upgrade, Ubisoft has released a video comparing the PS3 Assassin's Creed games to the new PS4 remaster.

The Ezio Collection brings Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations to current gen, all of which focus on Ezio Auditore da Firenze exploits in Renaissance Italy, Rome and Constantinople. The video compares the PS3 versions of the games to the upcoming release.

“The Assassins Creed franchise has always be known for stunning visuals and we’ve been very careful to keep the game feel authentic, just more beautiful,” said Xu Zhiyong, lead producer at Virtuos Studio, the company handling the remake for Ubisoft. “For us our work is all about dialing up the beauty and making a much loved world even more vivid, engaging & immersive for the players.”

The game hits shelves on November 15.

Very tempting... but I'm going to wait for this Ezio Collection to drop in price to maybe $29.99.

I started my replay of the ENTIRE Assassin's Creed franchise last Fall and sort of wish I had waited for this release but c'est la vie (I didn't know it was in the works).

Black Flag on PS4 was a real nice visual upgrade from my original XBOX 360 version. Especially the framerate out on the sea and in large battles.

Still not sick of this series!

TBH if they remastered Assassin's Creed III (Connor) I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

      lmao video says "gameplay comparison"

member back in the day an HD rerelease meant an actual remake and not just a simple texture and lighting update?
