PlayStation 4 pro gamers rejoice!

Sony has announced two officially licensed controllers geared towards professional gamers: the Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution.

Sony invited both Razer and Nacon to use their knowledge and expertise in developing a wide variety of eSports peripherals in order to design two unique pro controllers for the PlayStation 4. Through these partnerships, Sony was able to incorporate innovative DualShock 4 controls, which it hopes its customers can enjoy a plug & play experience when used with any model of the PS4.

First up is the Razer Raiju, which if you squint hard enough, kind of looks like what the DualShock 4 would look like if it merged with the Xbox One Elite Controller. The Raiju features advanced controller customization and ergonomics, which includes two additional bumpers, two extra detachable triggers, a built-in control panel, custom profiles that can be switched on the fly, a 3.5mm headphone jack with dedicated headset volume and mic mute controls, and detachable analog stick rubber caps.

The Necon Revolution is certainly more unique looking as it features 46° amplitude dual analog sticks, four extra shortcut buttons, an eight-way directional pad, four custom profiles, two internal compartments with six additional weights to help tailor the balance and feel to the player’s specifications.

Both the Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution are expected to release this holiday season, although no pricing for either controller was given at the time of publication.
