Step into the shoes of Lincoln Clay, a veteran returning home from Vietnam. After his surrogate family, the Black Mafia, is killed, Lincoln sets out on a path of revenge to take down everyone and anyone who had anything to do with his family’s murder. This article will serve as a hub for all of our Mafia 3 content, including walkthroughs, collectible locations, and more.

There is a lot to do in the newest installment of the Mafia series, and you’re going to be running around New Bordeaux trying to accomplish quite a bit. Tensions are high, thanks to the time period that the game is set in, so you’ll need to take that into account when dealing with people throughout the game. Our guide has been broken down into separate areas, so be sure to check out each area to find out where you need help.

Mafia 3 Tips

  • Some shops are still segregated, and don't allow loitering. Listen for audio cues to let you know whether you're allowed in the shop or not. If you stick around too long, the owners will call the police.
  • If you plan on breaking into a vehicle, or knocking someone off, be sure to look around for witnesses. Sometimes, if people witness a crime, they will run to the nearest phone and call the police.
  • Stock up before taking on large forces of enemies. As you make your way through the city, taking down different rackets, be sure to make use of your associates to clean out your wallet, sell you new weapons, and even get yourself a shiny new ride.
  • Saving old racket bosses will generate more revenue. If you wiretap the city you can learn more about the underlings running the different rackets in each district. This is key to allowing you to be able to recruit the old bosses for the new regime that you're building. It will also increase your revenue for each racket.
  • Stealth is key. The stealth system in Mafia 3 works extremely well. Take advantage of Lincoln's oversized knife, and be sure to whistle to use everything at your disposal to break enemies up.
  • When infiltrating new rackets, always take out the Sentries as quickly as possible. This keeps the bad guys from being able to call in for backup if things hit the fan.
