With Yo-Kai Watch 2 releasing in the US in just a few weeks, Nintendo has announced it will be releasing a demo of the game on the Nintendo eShop later this week.

The Yo-Kai Watch 2 demo will allow players to experience both Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls prior to purchasing the full game in a few weeks. The demo will have players using their Yo-Kai Watch to investigate mysterious behaviors taking place in the town of Harrisville. The demo also will include a sample of the new Yo-Kai Watch Blasters mode.

This wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo has released a demo of Yo-Kai Watch prior to the game’s official release as last year, a demo for the original Yo-Kai Watch released in late October just a few days prior to its official launch.

Yo-Kai Watch 2 will release across two separate versions, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls, on September 30th on the Nintendo 3DS.
