Forza Motorsport 6 Apex for PC has finally left beta, and has also added something players have been clamoring for since the beta launched: wheel support.

The game, which runs only on Windows 10, has added support for the following Logitech and Thrustmaster controllers:

Logitech

  • G27 Racing Wheel
  • G25 Racing Wheel
  • G29 Racing Wheel
  • MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel

Thrustmaster

  • TX Xbox One Wheel

The game has 63 cars, and 20 tracks in six locations. It allows players to compete against the "drivetars" of other Forza 6 players, but has no online multiplayer. It also offers 4K graphics support, but you'll need the high-end PC to run it. If you want to give it a try, here are the computer specs for the game:

Yeah, it's free. There's not much to it, though. A decent amount of cars, 6 track locations with multiple variations, and no online multiplayer - just ai and leaderboards. But there are regular updates with 2 new events that expire after a few weeks or so.

It runs and looks great for me. Only problems I've seen is some rare and minor hitching early on in each race. Not sure what that's about. Still totally playable once it smooths out.

Worth checking out, the races in the rain are pretty impressive. Decent interactions with standing water and puddles as well. You will feel the pull when slow, and you can hydroplane when going fast enough as well.

can I play at 21:9 yet??

Nope. Still 16:9 only and no reasons as to why besides it being a semi-port job of an existing Xbox game.

Forza Horizon 3 has 21:9 support, but it's also a different lead developer.

Apex also has 16:10 support, which is welcome for those of us still running 4:3 CRT's (smaller bars)
