At PAX West, developers from Telltale announced that The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier will premiere on consoles, PC, and mobile platforms this November.

"This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what's come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One," said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. "As a harrowing and horrific drama, 'A New Frontier' will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what's left of humanity itself."

Telltale announced a third season of The Walking Dead during E3. The story takes place a few years after Season 2 and follows series protagonist Clementine and a new character named Javier. Telltale says that both characters will be playable throughout the season's episodic installments, and that Javier will serve as a vehicle to explore who Clementine has become in addition to bringing a backstory of his own to the table.

"When we began this series, we explored what it meant to protect a character like Clementine at all costs," said Kevin Boyle, Executive Producer on the series. "Years later, meeting her for the first time, Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his - both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse."

Older Clem could make for a better story than Season 2 where she was in sort of an awkward place between innocent little girl and competent player character. I'll wait for reviews though.

Way into it. Dunno what the deal is with the hate, Season 2 was excellent. Not as good as S1, but still filled with a lot of memorable moments.

S2 did a lot of stuff better than S1 did. Which does not take away from the greatness of S1.

It's like comparing Max Payne 1 and 2. Please don't ask me which one is better. I don't know.

S1 was better than S2 for me because playing as Clementine in S2 I felt like God Mode enabled because I knew the devs wouldn't kill her off or any decision I made wouldn't effect much of the story arch. I felt untouchable and the game did nothing to shatter that feeling.

I'm looking forward to this but Life is Strange really set the bar high for these type of games.

I enjoyed the games but once you realize your choices are almost meaningless it kinda removes the excitement the game has.
