Bethesda Softworks and id Software surprised the majority of us by releasing a really, really good Doom this year. And today, GameStop is selling the definite candidate for Shacknews’ Game of the Year for just $20.

GameStop has the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Doom available for sale for $19.99, which is over 50% off its MSRP of $59.99. For those looking for digital copies of Doom, those currently don’t qualify for GameStop’s sale, so keep that in mind if owning a physical copy of the title isn’t ideal.

GameStop’s sale popped up suddenly and we’re not exactly sure how long it’ll last, so if you were the least bit interested in the game, we recommend you take advantage of it sooner rather than later.

We gave Doom a glowing review and it made it onto all of our Game of the Mid-Year lists, so you can be certain we highly recommend it if you’re still on the fence. Bethesda has also been updating the game regularly and released its first expansion, Unto the Evil.
